Holy Stone
These vessels are broken but beautiful, flawed but redeemed and transformed by the light that envelops them. They look fragile but in fact they possess great inner strength. The vessel is complete because of what it holds, the spirit.
More than Dust
As I work I am often reminded of how stone carving reflects life. We too are more than dust.
Often it is in the grind of existence, and at points of quiet tranquility or extreme elation, that the things that are beyond the physical substance of this world appear concrete. These are the points of inspiration for my sculpture.
